Description: Prerequisite: admission to TESL or bilingual or multicultural education program, doctoral status, or permission of instructor. Explores impact of linguistic and cultural diversity among students in teaching of second language across curriculum. Draws on theoretical foundations in second language acquisition, cross-cultural communication, socio- and psycholinguistics, and educational anthropology.
