Description: Focuses on strategies for developing culturally appropriate family-professional partnerships to benefit children with special needs. Explores theories and research that support a family-centered approach. Includes family and professional rights and responsibilities in the special education process.

Admission to the Early Childhood Special Education program or permission of the instructor
