Credit hours: 3

Description: Prerequisite: admission to a Mason graduate program. Focuses on physical, sensory, and medical and health aspects of child development, including etiology and symptomatology of developmental disabilities affecting physical development. Emphasizes positioning, handling, adaptive strategies and understanding of assistive technology devices. Focuses on the understanding of roles of related disciplines in collaborative planning and service delivery. Requires field experience.
