General Information

Credit hours: 3

Description: Designed for professionals working with individuals with severe disabilities. Focuses on concepts and skills needed to design, implement, and evaluate behavior support programs derived from functional assessment. Covers effective teaching strategies; addresses relevant replacement skills; facilitates generalization and maintenance of skills; and incorporates individually designed crisis intervention procedures. Course is equivalent to EDSE 620 for students in the severe disabilities program.
