EDSE 458: Physical and Sensory Disabilities: Developmental, Education, and Medical Aspects

Credit hours: 3

Description: Focuses on physical, sensory, medical, and health aspects of child development, including etiology and symptomatology of developmental disabilities affecting physical development. Emphasizes positioning, handling, adaptive strategies, and understanding of assistive technology devices. Focuses on the understanding of roles of related disciplines in collaborative planning and service delivery. Field experience required.
