Description: Prerequisite: admission to PhD program, or permission of instructor. Examines issues in counseling profession, including counseling theory and methodology, development of client groups, new roles and settings for counselors, emerging assessment procedures, new understanding of diagnosis; and impact of societal changes on counseling profession.
