Examines issues in counseling profession, including counseling theory and methodology, development of client groups, new roles and settings for counselors, emerging assessment procedures, new understanding of diagnosis; and impact of societal changes on counseling profession. Offered by School of Education. May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Prerequisite: Admission to the PhD program or permission of instructor.
